This course expounds the concepts of critical thinking. It covers the main aspects of every-day logic, teaching us to think for ourselves and to avoid being manipulated by a host of individuals and entities. Topics include: issues and arguments on critical thinking, defining and exploring the critical thinking processes, explores our beliefs, opinions, views, convictions, prejudices, and a wide range of other related subjects including the principles of creative writing.

Katherine Emmons has a Ph.D. in Education and has lived and worked in several countries. Christine Gee has a Bachelor's of Science in Business Economics. She was the recipient of a California Governor's Teaching Fellowship and is a high school math teacher. Her interests in educational technology continue to grow as she explores uses of the Internet and handheld devices in the classroom.
